Genesis Computing is looking for a top-performing enterprise seller to help build our presence in the NYC market. This is a unique opportunity to refine our sales motion, own key relationships, and build a high-performance team around your success. You should bring experience from enterprise technology providers (e.g., Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google, dbt, Airflow) and be trained in structured sales methodologies (MEDDICC/MEDDPICC), ideally with formal training from organizations like PTC, EMC, or ADP.

What You’ll Do

Territory & Deal Execution

  • Execute our go-to-market strategy to penetrate enterprise accounts in the NYC metro region
  • Own the full sales cycle—prospecting, discovery, POV/POC execution, business case development, negotiation, and close
  • Position Genesis as a transformative alternative to staff augmentation and consulting, articulating ROI and time-to-value that resonate with economic buyers
  • Partner with Solutions Engineering to demonstrate capabilities across Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow, and enterprise integrations
  • Qualify, forecast, and close deals using MEDDICC/MEDDPICC

Relationships & Champion Building

  • Build relationships with VP and C-level executives—we sell at senior levels
  • Enable internal champions with ROI calculators, executive briefings, and business case documentation
  • Collaborate with Product, Marketing, and Leadership to align customer needs with solutions

Market Development

  • Represent Genesis at industry events and strategic engagements
  • Contribute to hiring, onboarding, and mentoring as we scale the team

Provide market feedback to shape product roadmap

Who You Are

Experience & Methodology

  • 5+ years of enterprise B2B technology sales with consistent overachievement
  • Track record building territory from scratch into repeatable revenue
  • Mastery of MEDDICC/MEDDPICC for qualification, forecasting, and deal strategy
  • Expertise in value-based selling, TCO analysis, and ROI modeling
  • Experience positioning technology as an alternative to staff augmentation or professional services

Technical Acumen

  • Confidence engaging technical buyers (data engineers, architects) and business executives (CFOs, CIOs, CDOs)
  • Familiarity with the modern data stack such as Snowflake, Databricks, dbt, Airflow, AWS, Azure, and BigQuery
  • Understanding of AI/ML platforms and data engineering workflows sufficient to articulate value

  • Grit and resourcefulness—thrives in startup environments
  • Executive presence—commands a room and builds trust with senior stakeholders
  • Intellectually curious—eager to deeply understand product, market, and customer challenges

Preferred Qualifications

  • Background in channel/ecosystem selling (Snowflake, Databricks, AWS, Azure partners)
  • Network of enterprise contacts in NYC, particularly in data/analytics leadership
  • Experience selling into financial services, healthcare, or regulated industries
  • Familiarity with Snowflake, Databricks, Palantir, Anthropic, Microsoft, Google competitive landscape
  • Experience partnering with Snowflake/Databricks field teams
  • Leadership aspirations or experience building sales teams
